When I'm lucky I am able to offer mini Portrait Sessions at Horse Shows! Scheduling a Portrait Session while at a show is probably one of the most convenient times ever because the client's horse is already impeccably groomed and is probably already tired (which makes for a very calm horse during the session). I also love getting to interact with my clients outside of the show pen! Getting to capture the true bond exhibitors have with their horse is always so refreshing!

One morning during the TQHA September Circuit I was able to photograph Abbey and Annie before they scooted off to a showmanship practice. The warm September sun rising along the side pastures of the Tennessee Miller Coliseum made for the perfect backdrop while Abbey and Annie posed in front of my lens! These two have had a very successful show year so far and it was such an honor to capture them outside of the show pen.
