Where are you located?
A.I am based out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee! I love to travel though so I am always up to travel anywhere in the United States for sessions. All sessions are subject to additional travel fees.
What's required to book a session?
A.I require a signed contract and a non refundable retainer paid to have a fully booked session. The remainder of the session fee is due a week prior to your session.
Where do we do the session?
A.I will travel to your barn for your session! Don't stress if you think your barn doesn't have the prettiest scenery; with the proper angling and a little bit of Photoshop magic I can make the location look better than you envisioned!
What's the turnaround rate for my photos?
A.You will receive your images in an online gallery in 3-5 weeks after your session. I take great pride in the quality of my work so I do not like to rush the process! Expedited turnaround for your gallery may be requested though for an additional fee.
What kind of gear do you use?
A.I photograph with a full frame Canon DSLR and have a variety of lenses that I bring to each session. I am a natural light portrait photographer so I do not use any form of flash or additional lighting for portrait sessions.
How does the travel fee work?
A.If I travel to you by car then the fee will be the total mileage times the IRS's current Standard Mileage Rate for the year. The 2023 Mileage Rate is 65.5 cents per mile.
If you are too far away to drive, or it makes more sense to fly, then a flat rate of $1600 will be charged. This rate covers everything from my travel time, plane fare, rental car, and lodging.
Keep in mind, if a fellow barn mate(s) books a session the travel fee will be equally divided among you.
