After photographing the 2022 CQHA Connecticut Classic, I had just two days to get from Northampton, Massachusetts to Harriman, Tennessee to photograph the 2022 Tennessee Quarter Horse Association's "Dogwood Classic" held at the Roane State Expo Center! It was a very busy two week but it was so exhilarating!
The Dogwood Classic was very well attended and a very well run show (which is no surprise since it was run by Peak Equine Productions). I was super excited to find out there were drivers at this show as well (5 total which is kinda a big deal to have so many at just a state level show)! I've photographed the driving classes before but not yet under my own name.
I really love photographing the Tennessee Quarter Horse shows since I have come to know the exhibitors and would even consider quite a few of them my friends (and thankfully most of them have caught on to pat their horses when they see me pointing my camera at them)! I can't wait to photograph the next TQHA show already!
